# 1 - The Brief
All design jobs start with you submitting a brief to us. You can start your job now but clicking 'start now'. This is done online to make this easier for you. This is the most important part of the design storage as it provides us with essential background information regarding your business, your products or services and your company ethos; all of which helps me to get a clear idea of what is required.
# 2 - The Deposit (applicable for Logo Design only)
For Logo Designs we require a £25 deposit which is payable once we have received your design brief. Once received we will email you an initial invoice and call for you to make payment. Concept designs will not commence until the deposit has been received.
# 3 - Concept Designs
Once the deposit has been received, we will start the process of designing your artwork. We often do this by sketching rough drafts on paper, then transfer the idea to the computer so that it is easy for you to review and evaluate.
As soon as the first concept designs are complete, we will send them by email. We will always keep a record of all your artwork files for you for the first 6 months after the end of the project for your convenience.
# 4 - Send & Review
Once the initial prototypes have been sent, we will ask for your opinion on each design. Usually one or two items will be worked on further, refining certain elements such as colour and typography, however if it's thought that the design is not right for development, further new ideas will be created.
This process or designing & reviewing will continue until your happy with the final look and feel of the artwork. Unlike other design agencies, there is no limit on the number of revisions you can make and we am happy to work until you are satisfied with your artwork.
# 5 - Final Output
Once the design(s) have been signed off they will be made up to professional press specifications and uploaded to your private client area. we will also deliver all files on disc and include a range of extra formats so you can use it in your own office in word documents or on your website. As standard the most common file types are .eps .awe .pdf .jpeg and .tiff plus any software specific files such as Adobe Indesign.
# 5 - Payment
In accordance with my terms & conditions, the balnce payment is requested at the end of the project but before print (if you have asked for this service).
Payment can be made with credit/debit cards over the phone, or via the bank. Once payment is received you will automatically receive your full artwork.
